Position: Life Science Business Analyst 
Location: Remote
Duration: 5 Month Contract
Rate: $55/hr. on C2C

 

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document user needs and system requirements directly from life sciences stakeholders (e.g., R&D, clinical operations, or commercial teams).

FRS Mapping: Map business needs to Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), ensuring developers understand the necessary capabilities.

Testing Coordination: Partner with clients to coordinate test case development, build testing plans, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee the software meets user expectations. [1, 2]

Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic data analysis and create reports or dashboards to communicate project performance and key insights.

Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between IT development teams and business users to translate complex technical jargon into understandable business language.

 

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology), Computer Science, or Business Administration.

Industry Experience: 5+ years of direct experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments, often requiring an understanding of regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills: 5+ years of proficiency in software development lifecycles (SDLC) like Agile/Scrum, database tools (SQL), and process-mapping software (Visio).

Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
