My Client is looking for a consultant for Cyber security Analyst position for a Long Term Contract position in Burlington, MA (Onsite – In-person interview required)

Position – Cyber security Analyst
Location - Burlington, MA (Onsite – In-person interview required)
Type – Contract   

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Tenable, or Rapid7.
• Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk severity.
• Coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure, application, and network teams.
• Implement and validate security patches across Windows and Linux environments.
• Track remediation efforts through ticketing systems and maintain accurate documentation.
• Generate vulnerability and compliance reports for leadership and audit teams.
• Monitor CVEs, vendor advisories, and emerging security threats.
• Support patch management activities using SCCM, Intune, and Azure Update Manager.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, IT security, or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, Rapid7).
• Knowledge of patch management processes and security best practices.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, Azure Update Manager, ServiceNow, and Lansweeper.
• Understanding of SIEM and endpoint security tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, CVEs, and remediation processes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts is preferred.

• Security+
• CEH
• SC-900
