Position: Sr. Software Developer (ETL tools (SSIS/SSRS)

Location: New York city, NY Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week

Duration: 6+ Months Contract 

Interview: video followed by in-person

 

Description:

·       Sr. Software Developer (ETL tools (SSIS/SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server, Data Flow, and Data Mapping)

·       Expertise in system integration through file-based and real-time interfaces is important to ensure efficient data flow and operations.

·       Familiarity with the Boomi platform for enterprise integration is highly preferred.

·       This position requires a solid background in ETL tools (SSIS/SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server, Data Flow, and Data Mapping, plus the ability to adapt business processes to benefit from technology solutions.

·       Strong documentation skills are necessary, along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies for project success.

·       The candidate must collaborate with various teams to test more than 75 interfaces between AMI MAMS and other systems on the Boomi platform.

·       Additionally, they should work closely with the ConEd Infrastructure team to refresh, set up, and manage testing environments.

·       The candidate must handle incident triage, remediation, root cause analysis, and suggest preventive measures including HPI.

·       It is nice to have prior experience with utility projects, including knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

·       The candidate should have experience with Regression, SIT, SAT, and UAT testing.

·       This role requires experience with Agile methodology, environment management for parallel projects.

·       Candidates should demonstrate expertise in incident and defect management and corrective actions post major events. Strong business relationships and stakeholder communication skills are essential, including leading team discussions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have

Microsoft SQL Server, APIs, ETS Tools (SSIS/SSRS), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TSQL, HTML, Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning, SDLC, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Documentation, Testing Activities, Teamwork, Strong Written and Verbal Communication, and Analytical Skills

 

Nice To Have

·       Experience in Utility Projects or AMI knowledge, Python, Boomi and BizTalk
