Keigo Higashino's story Journey Under the Midnight Sun was first serialized in Shueisha magazine from 1997 to 1999, then compiled into a novel. It has been adapted several times, among them the Japanese drama Byakuyakō which aired on TBS in 2006, and the 2011 Japanese film Into the White Night.
Director Park Shin-woo was inspired to write the script after being impressed with the novel Journey Under the Midnight Sun. He sent the screenplay to author Keigo Higashino, who said it was "superb," and allowed it to be adapted into a film.[3]
The plot appears to follow a man who returns to Korea for one night. He has been away for two years. At a cafe, he meets up with a past love or friend he left behind when he left Korea. The mustached man is still upset about the past event, and perhaps also by him having left. He claims that he is involved with someone different, as does the main character - "a 35 year old in Germany". Equally wounded, tears begin to form in the eye of the main character, and he abruptly leaves the cafe without saying goodbye, when his friend or past love goes back in to make another order.
Won Gyu, a steward, returns to Seoul 2 years after he left with a painful memory. He meets Tae Joon acquainted on the Web and they have a special night at the place of Won Gyu's bad memory. Based on an actual case of random street assault by a homophobe in Jong No. Edit Translation
The film intercuts between these two investigative timelines, and a viewer unfamiliar with the Keigo novel or the 2006 TBS drama adaptation will soon come to realize that when the two threads meet in the chronological middle, they become one continuous story arc with as many influent subplots as there are players in this sprawling twin murder mystery fifteen years in the solving. And twisting through and around this murder arc are two individual threads, one black and one white, two intertwined lives that only exist for and because of each other.
When I started listening to White night Red love, I was surprised. Considering the cover art for the EP, gongtokki looked like she would be creating bedroom pop or some hip-hop hybrid. But instead, I heard an interesting mix of electronic pop, jazz, and indie rock blended together.

Unfortunately all good things come to an end, and so too did the concert, but he went out with a bang, literally. Both Bang Bang Bang and Fantastic Baby were part of his encore set and that drove the crowd into a frenzy. It was crazy, everyone was dancing and singing along. The fans really did almost raise the roof, so just as well the Bomb Factory was originally just that, a bomb and munitions factory. Anything less and I think Taeyang and the Texas fans would have blown the walls out. What a night, and what a concert, and one of the best things is he said he would come back.
The rise of the popularity of golf in South Korea shows no sign of abating. The country is now the world's third largest market for golf, and Korean golfers spend more per capita on golf equipment and apparel than people in any other country. A new phenomenon is taking off in Korea to reflect the ever-increasing popularity of the game. Golf clubs are opening after dark to allow more people to play the game. The concept has been dubbed "white night" golf. It allows Korea's avid golfers more opportunities to get their clubs out. It can be difficult to secure a round of golf in Korea. There is a scarcity of courses in metropolitan areas. The capital city of Seoul has just one course and is limited to use by military personnel.
There are as many as 117 golf courses of 18 holes or more that currently offer night games. White night golf may result in South Korea's golfers achieving more success on the international stage, especially in the women's game. The SeoulSisters website states that: "As of last week, 32 of the top 100 players in the women's world rankings, including 4 of the top 10, were from South Korea." A Korean woman has won at least one golf major every season since 2010. Korea's legendary Pak Se-ri won the 1998 US Open aged 20 in her rookie season. She may have been a white night trailblazer. It is reported her father made her practice her swing near cemeteries at night to toughen her up.
