DEAR HELP GROUP,

I CANNOT FIND AN EXPLANATION OF HOW I CAN EXPORT A DESIGN WITHOUT THE
MEASUREMENTS OVERLAPPING -AS THEY DO WHEN THE WHOLE DESIGN IS SHOWN ON
THE COMPUTER SCREEN.
THANX IN ADVANCE.

Roger, I think a screenshot would be very helpful for us to understand
your problem, since I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

It sounds like you're describing dimension text size when zoomed out.
You have noted that the text size does not change relative to the
screen.

This is because the default text size is define in 'points' (relative
to the screen.) You need to change the size of the font, but don't use
points. SketchUp allows you to set font size relative to the model,
rather than the screen. In this case the font size is specified by
'height' rather than 'points.'

Select a dimension, and see its description in the 'Entity Info'
window. Click on the 'Change font' button. A new window will pop open,
which will allow you to change the 'Size' to 'height.' Just type in
the height of the text you want, using the units relative to the size
of your model.

(Sorry if this description is confusing - it's easier to demonstrate
than to describe in writing. Try the 'change font' option button to
experiment. The method should be more evident after you've played with
it a bit.)

Regards,
Taff
