When I insert a view from sketchup, the line weights appear very heavy, making for clunky corners and whatnot. Is there a way to edit the line weights of the sketchup view from within layout? Or from within sketchup, for that matter?
Thanks in advance.

You can not have multiple line weights in a model. You can turn off the 'heavy' lines you're describing by going to:
Text menu bar >> View >> Edge Style >> Profiles (uncheck)
You can also set the 'profile' width in the Window >> Styles dialog box, but I think you'll probably be satisfied with the above-described toggle setting.
