Hi MSP community,

With St. Cecilia’s feast day as the patron of music coming up on November 22, I’ve personally been thinking about the saints and heroes who inspire us in working with ministries and volunteers.

For instance, on Mother Teresa’s feast day, September 5, I’m reminded of her call to “do small things with great love.” And every January, I think of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose holiday is also the National Day of Service — a time when my church and many others organize volunteer opportunities in his honor.

I’m curious — are there saints, biblical figures, or modern spiritual heroes who inspire you to give your time to ministry scheduling?

I’d love to hear about them, and explore how we could share their inspiration with our MSP community — to encourage one another in doing this important work every day.

In appreciation for all you do,
Krista
