Ministry Fair Tips? 📋

Hi MSP Community!

Some of us are gearing up for ministry fairs — those tabling events at church where people can learn about ministries and sign up to get involved.

Does your church host a ministry (or volunteer) fair? If so:

• When do you hold it? (Fall kickoff, or another time?)

• What draws people to stop by your table? Do you bring your laptop with MSP, have a bowl of candy 🍫, or something else?

Would love to hear what’s worked for you (or what hasn’t!) so we can swap ideas.

We had a “Travel Around the World” event. Each ministry had a table and decorated with a different country. We used fake passports & each visitor had to get a stamp from each country/ministry. If you got a stamp from every table, your passport was entered for a cash prize. We held the event after each Mass. It was alot of fun.

That’s good idea! We hold our Ministry Fair each September. This year it will be the weekend of September 13-14th.
