I schedule Ash Wednesday as a yearly service and just tweak it as needed. What I do for special services that is different (maybe a little weird) is that during Holy Week/Easter (and also Christmas week), I schedule Altar Guild service times as individual services (so Altar Guild set-up for Maundy Thursday or AG clean-up for Holy Saturday, for example are individual separate services, and I fill in AG members manually, because their “work” times and needs don’t match the actual times of the services).
