It would be nice to be able to save filters for other processes as well. I.e. viewing a filtered list of volunteers, filtering the conflict report, filtering tokens, ...

Great feedback! I have shared these requests with our development team. Also, I wanted to share some more information about filters in the distribution report, for anyone who'd find this helpful:
Service Preference Filter:
There’s a distinction between 2 types of filters in the Ministry Distribution Report: Filter A and Filter B (pictured below):
Filter A will change the values in the table to only show positions for the specified service. (When the original message below came to the Google Group in 2014, this was actually not a feature yet.) For example, if you’re focusing on the 10am service and want to see how many people are assigned to each ministry at that service, use Filter A.
Filter B will filter which volunteers are shown in the list, not the values in the table. This is helpful if you want to compare similar volunteers
— for example, to see how many times people who prefer both the 9am and 11am services were scheduled in each of their ministries.
Saving Filters Request:
I’ve added your votes to the request for saving filters and shared it with our team. Dorothy’s point about making saved filters accessible in multiple places seems like it would be really valuable. When more users request a feature, it helps us prioritize it — so feel free to continue to share ideas or "second" them here in the Google Group, or directly with our Support team. We love hearing your feedback on how a new feature would address an obstacle so we can fully consider all the ways we can meet that need!
