An update was just installed and now I can’t open the scheduler without entering my evaluation code.  But when I enter the code, there is a message that says the maximum number of computers has the program installed for our license.  Anyone else having this problem?

We had the same situation on Wednesday!   You have to call the Minister Schedule office in California…and they will walk you through the fix.  It was not difficult, but they have to help you from their office.

Last, same problem on the last update. I had MSP support remove the
license from their database for the PC in question and then I was able
to reinstall the software.

Mike, Did you try uninstalling it yourself? Or does MSP support have to do it? Not a good problem on a Friday afternoon! Sandy ~

No, instead of uninstalling and then reinstalling the program I had
MSP remove the license for that PC. Then, since I already had the
software loaded, I only had to (re)register the software.

I had this problem as well this week. Fortunately, I still had two
unused licenses. I did notice that I used up one though.

I was about to e-mail them about this. I'm glad to know I'm not the
only one.

Hi,

Is anyone getting an error message when they try to click on "Emailer"
or "Web Terminal"? I receive a message with the following wording;
"Exception Thrown: Attempt to convert Non-date value (it)." There are
two options to respond, "Continue" & "Stop".

The PC in the parish office had the problem described below on
Wednesday. The staff couldn't prepare the weekend schedule. I had to
use an extra license that I was not using to get things back up and
running. The software reports that I am using 1 more license then the
number of installations that I have on PCs.

Peace,
Arthur

I have been getting that error quite frequently. I was able to export a schedule but had quite a few errors when volunteers showed this weekend. They had submitted SUB REQUESTS and I did process them but they did not receive verification e-mails so we had some extra people show up.

In other words my export (schedule for November 15th) was not accurate. It had omitted some of my people who ACCEPTED SWAPs. I'm wondering if it might be due to the issues you are citing below.

Ironically, I just go this problem fixed on another computer on my license and now it's happening on my home computer. I was supposed to get December's schedule out this week, but it'll have to wait. I'm sure MSP will work quickly to fix the problem for us.

Hello,

Quite a few users have experienced the issue with having to re-license MSP after the recent update was installed. If you experience this problem, let us know at sup...@ministryschedulerpro.com and we will promptly reset your license. The problem only affects certain machines, and tracking it down the root cause has been very difficult since we have not been able to reproduce the issue here. However we believe we have tracked it down particular user account configurations on those machines and are working to correct the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience and we will make it a top priority to ensure this does not happen with future updates. I can understand the frustration surrounding this issue. The point of an update is to improve overall experience and the should not cause additional problems. We are working hard to resolve this issue.

The other two issues brought up by Arthur and Joan are not related to the automatic update. In regards to these issues and any others, please write us directly at sup...@ministryschedulerpro.com and we will help resolve them promptly on an individual basis.

I get email exceptions rather frequently. I have found that it occurs if I have left MSP up for a good length of time. If I quit out, and restart before I send out an emailing I never get the error. I am curious if you are also getting the exception after leaving MSP up for a time, or if your experience is different.
