changing a web admin to a leader

Hello:

I’m interested in making a current volunteer a Leader of a specific ministry. When I try to add them as a Leader in the Administrators window, I can only add them as a Web Admin.

Suggestions?

I have the same problem. I do not want more Web Admins. I would like a leader for each of our ministries.

Ginger & Kathleen—I’ll follow up with each of you directly and connect you with Support to help you with Leaders in MSP. If you’re only seeing the option to add someone as a Web Admin, it could mean the account has reached its current Leader limit, and Support can help you ensure the right folks are set up with access.

If anyone's interested in learning more about the Leaders feature, here's some information to help:

• As Ginger and Kathleen wrote, Leaders are a way to give someone responsibility for a specific ministry (like Lectors or Ushers) without making them full Web Admins. They can help manage scheduling and communication for their ministry only.
• For subscriptions purchased after December 2015, Leaders are available in the Plus Edition of MSP. 
• If you're curious about adding Leaders for your ministries, check out these resources from the MSP Help Center:
