Sharing general service resources

I haven’t seen this topic addressed, so I thought I’d ask this group of smart folks:

I’d like to share some worship service resources that are general, not specific to a certain service. Like where lectors can find Biblical pronunciation guides, and similar things.

Is there a place on our church's MSP site to post general notes and resources for volunteers? Or even specific notes for certain ministries (dress code for acolytes, for example)?

Ginger,

I believe you share the same readings for Sunday and Holy Day Services.

We are Roman Catholic.  I provide all of our Lectors with a resource book from Liturgy Training Pubications, (LTP) entitled Workbook for Lectors, Gospel Readers and Proclaimers of the Word.

It not only provides pronunciations, but highlights when to pause, what to emphasize, has the readings and the background for each reading.  It is published every year and we provide copies for all prior to the new Liturgical Year beginning the first Sunday of Advent.  You can check out their website.  Our Liturgical Ministers really like it.

Hey Ginger,

I am only familiar with the ability to post resources to a specific service in MSP, which can be found here: https://rotundasoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036359934-Add-a-resource-to-the-service-view  However, I believe you may already be aware of this.

I am also interested to know if there is a more "general" area where information can be posted for all ministries. I was not able to locate an article on this.

Thanks, Stephanie— I’ve looked over this procedure and tried it-- it worked for me when I chose “use this resource for every single service.” 

There is also a place to add Notes for services, and the options are the same-- for a single service, for repeating services or for all services.

My problem is solved!
