Gift Bearers: How do you schedule/organize each Sunday?

Hi everyone,

I'd love to run this question by the MSP community. Curious how other churches organize Gift Bearers — the individuals or families who bring up the bread and wine during the Offertory.

Do you…

• Schedule Gift Bearers in advance? Add them to MSP?

• Invite people the day of (e.g., Ushers asking parishioners before the service begins)?

• Use another method?

Would love to hear what’s worked for your community, and any tips to make that process run smoothly each Sunday.

We ask our hospitality ministers to select a family at each Mass.  We don't use MSP for assigning.
