$46,359 - $62,068 annually

Performs a variety of mid-level transportation research, analysis, and planning activities within the Transportation Research and Modeling Services (TRMS) Section of the Metro Planning Department.  Examples of this work include the development and maintenance of transportation information databases, the development and application of transportation models using specialized computer software, the provision of technical support for transportation projects, the performance of technical research and analysis, and the preparation of reports and recommendations based upon analysis.

 

Metro is the regional government that provides integrated resource management for the 25 cities and unincorporated areas in the Portland metropolitan area. Facilities, public assets and governance services include transportation planning, growth management, solid waste system management and recycling services, regional parks and greenspaces, the Oregon Convention Center, the Oregon Zoo, the Portland Center for the Performing Arts and the Metropolitan Exposition Center.
