Description:	The St. Petersburg, Florida office of Greenhorne & O’Mara has an opening for a candidate with either (1) a bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, civil engineering, or a related field, OR (2) the equivalent of two years of full-time experience related to the acquisition and use of the required knowledge and abilities listed below. Knowledge of: • Fundamentals of Transportation Planning and Analysis. • Fundamentals of Transportation Research and analytical methodology. • Fundamentals of statistical and computational methodology. • Fundamentals of Traffic Engineering. • Local government organization and operation. Ability to: • Collect and summarize data pertaining to assignment. • Prepare statistics and data for review. • Learn to perform Transportation analysis using traffic engineering softwares, i.e., HCS, CORSIM, etc. • Learn to prepare signing and marking plans, signalization plans, and traffic control plans using Microstation and AutoCadd. • Learn to prepare safety studies, traffic impact studies, and signal studies. • Learn to prepare written reports and recommendations. • Orally communicate transportation data and information. EOE/AA M/F/H/V Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are required.
