1. Student Town Hall Meeting (Rankings): The SBA will host a students-only town hall meeting today (March 18th; 5:30 pm in Kendrick 100) to discuss the rankings in advance of our town hall meeting with the Provost. A survey/questionnaire will be distributed to gather information and it will be available electronically for those unable to attend. Food will be provided. 2. Barristers' Ball - This Wednesday is the last day to purchase tickets for Barristers' Ball! The final numbers have been turned in to the venue, so there is a possibility of tickets selling out before Wednesday. Pick yours up in the Student Boulevard 10AM to 6PM until Wednesday, March 20. The 2013 USF Law Barristers’ Ball will be held at the Julia Morgan Ballroom on March 22 from 9PM to 2AM. Tickets are $45 each and include entry and two drink tickets, with cash or check as acceptable forms of payment. Non-student guests are welcome to join. The event is 21+ and black tie optional. We look forward to you joining us in this USF Law tradition!
3. SBA Election Forms Due: Interested in running for an SBA position (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, 2L/3L/ABA Representative)? Forms are now available on the SBA Website. All forms/petitions are due no later than Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 6:20 pm in the SBA Office. For additional information, please contact the Election Committee at usflawe...@gmail.com.
4. Evening Food Service: The evening food service pilot program in the Kendrick Cafe will continue this week (March 18th - March 20th). The evening food service provides a great option for those with evening classes and/or those studying on campus in the evening. 5. Dean Search Finalist Town Hall Meeting: John D. Trasviña

Please join the Dean Search Committee and the Student Bar Association for a Town Hall Meeting with John D. Trasviña. The Town Hall Meetings with the Dean Search Finalists will provide students with an opportunity to meet, interact with and question each of the finalists. At the conclusion of each meeting, students will have an opportunity to complete an evaluation to help inform the final recommendation made by the Search Committee. Food will be provided. 6. Centennial Speaker Series - Featuring Patricia Williams (Columbia Law School)

Professor Patricia Williams (Columbia Law School) will be the featured speaker on this installment of the Centennial Faculty Scholarship Speaker Series. She will present 'Convergences: Recuperating Home in an Age of Disaster, Disease, and Diaspora.' Professor Williams focuses her scholarly work on race, gender, and other issues of legal authority. Come compete with your fellow students for the quest to pick the best bracket for this year's March Madness tournament. Proceeds go toward grad committee. $10 buy in. Extra special prize for the top bracket. Brackets sold in student boulevard this week until tip off.
