[USF SBA Elections]

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I wish to take this moment to state plainly that I will be stepping out of the race for SBA President.  This decision has been weighing heavily on my mind for some time and I know that it is the appropriate action for me. 

I have dedicated myself the past 2 years as a student leader on SBA and have cherished every moment.  Given the current state of affairs at our school and my need to focus on my future legal career, I'm choosing to step aside. This school currently needs a leader who will have the time to dedicate themselves completely to the position of President.  I feel comfortable with my decision because I do not doubt the talents and skills of either one of the other candidates.  We will have strong leadership to face the changes unfolding at our school in the coming year. 

I take this opportunity to reaffirm that I will not be any less of a presence on campus, nor will I step away from the school I love.  I would like to thank you all for the support, not just in the past weeks preparing for this election, but also over the years.
