I've assembled a list of software that I believe is being tested in this interop, starting with the I2 list and adding some new participants. Can each of you please check soon that:
- your software (a.k.a. Solution) is present in the list,
- the associated URL is correct, and
- the page at that URL contains sufficient information for people to be able to use your software in the Interop?
This information will shortly used to populate the I3 wiki, so it would save a lot of work if it's accurate. Shibboleth project members, I know that your description page isn't complete because a test username and password needs to be distributed to the participants somehow. We can talk about this on the call tomorrow.
Also, I plan to reach out to AOL, Yahoo!, Google, and Plaxo to have their OpenID offerings included in the interop. Who else should we be including from the OpenID community?
The list is included both as a spreadsheet and as text below. Please send corrections to Pamela and me.
Thanks all!

Agreed Charles. Let's talk about this on the call and then we'll do the outreach tomorrow, based on everyone's ideas.
Cheers,

How about a "walk-in demo"? Anyone can bring their own laptop.
Someone will help them install and/or configure an identity
selector. And then show them all the neat things it does.
The key concept here is "their own".

I've now further refined this list in preparation for creating pages for Participants, Solutions, and the roles that each Solution plays. The attached list is derived from the previous one, but supersedes it. (That was quick, eh?) If you want to change anything in these lists before we populate the wiki, now would be a good time to speak up. J
(If the attachment doesn't come through in the e-mail you may have to go to http://groups.google.com/group/user-centric-identity-interop and pick it up from there.)
Talk to you on the call tomorrow. (Dale, what's the call-in number?)
Thanks all!

I'd like to reiterate my suggestion to include more from the
blogosphere:
- Drupal
- Wordpress (software package + .com)
- Movable Type
- livejournal.com and typepad.com
Johnny
The attached spreadsheet contains a number of updates from participants -- thanks!
The next thing we'd like you to review in our data is whether we've accurately described the relationships between the different pieces of software your project is bringing to the Interop. For instance, a subset of the Bandit project data in the spreadsheet currently is:
Solution Qualified Solution Role
Bandit Python RP Bandit Python RP Information Card Relying Party
Bandit Wag Bandit Wag IdP Information Card Identity Provider
Bandit Cards Bandit Cards IdP Information Card Identity Provider
Bandit Cards Bandit Cards as RP Information Card Relying Party
This demonstrates that the Bandit Cards solution plays both Identity Provider and Relying Party roles, whereas the Python RP and the Wag IdP are independent solutions. Also, if we've left off a role for a solution (for instance, does the Wag IdP also accept Information Cards? Is your IdP also an RP, maybe for login purposes?) then please let us know that as well.
Thanks a bunch!

P.S. Ignore the Abbrev column. It's for internal use on the site and will mostly be invisible to participants.

Add IBM as both an OpenID Identity Provider and OpenID Service Provider with the same endpoint URL as used for cardspace.

Pam and Mike,
Attached is an updated spreadsheet:

As one who is afflicted with OS X, I certainly agree about
such a separation.
It's at least going to make a difference in what the users
see and the controls that they operate. See law 6.
They use different services from the platform; e.g. OS X
uses keychain services.

That is only if you use platform services, which does not have to be.
