Mi ricevas mesagxojn de kelkaj fontoj, de la Centra Oficejo, per Facebook, per amikoj kiuj plusendas mesagxojn al mi, pri USEJ.

 

Pro tio, ke kelkdek novaj Esperantistoj en Usono nun finas la kurson cxiutage, pli kaj pli grava estas USEJ kaj la ties reorganizado.

 

Kiel mi respondu al la petoj por informo?  Kion mi aux la estraro povas fari por doni helpon al USEJ? Cxu estas io, kion USEJ povas fari por la lernantoj de Duolingo?

 

Cxu USEJ havas Facebook pagxon?  Aux cxu USEJ havu pagxon en Facebook? 

Cxu USEJ havas retpagxon?  Kiel USEJ starigu retpagxon?

Kiel ni profit de la intereso, kiun ni nun havas?

 

La afero pli kaj pli urgxas, cxar novaj Esperantistoj havas intereson en USEJ, kaj ni nun komunikas pli ofte kun la membraro kaj la publiko per “webinar”, reddit AMA, twitter, kaj aliaj sociaj medioj. 

 

Gxis nun mi preskaux cxiam respondas al la multaj petoj per “io baldaux okazos en USEJ.”

 

Ni kreskas en Esperanto-USA.  Ankaux USEJ povas kreski.

Dankon pro via intereso.  Ni antauxigxas pli kaj pli forte kaj grandskale.

Dear friends,

I receive messages from several sources, from the Central Office of Esperanto-USA, Facebook, and forwarded from friends, about USEJ, the United States Esperanto Youth organization.

 

Because we have several dozen in the United States who graduate from the Esperanto course in Duolingo every day, the reorganization of USEJ is becoming more and more urgent.

 

How should I respond to the inquiries?  What can the board of Esperanto-USA do to help USEJ?  Is there something that USEJ can do for the Duolingo learners?

 

Does USEJ have a Facebook page?  Should it have one?

Does USEJ have a web page?  Should it have one?

How can we profit from the interest that the newcomers have?

 

The matter is more and more urgent now because the new Esperanto speakers have interest in USEJ and we now communicate more frequently with the members and with the public in webinars, reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), twitter, Facebook, and other social media.

 

Until now I usually respond to the inquiries with something like, “Something will happen in USEJ very soon now.”

 

We are growing in Esperanto-USA.  USEJ can also grow.

Ni akiras pli kaj pli da intereso en USEJ!

We are getting more and more interest in USEJ.

 

I really can’t do this, because we don’t really want an old geezer leading USEJ.  We need for USEJ to lead USEJ, even if it is a shared leadership.  Right now we need a focal point, perhaps a Facebook group or something for some of the interested parties to set up.  It will be surprising what kind of interest will show up if there is a place for focusing attention and coordination.

Ĉu ni havas iu(j)n ajn, kiu(j) volas estri USEJ-n, ke tiu povus pripensi tiajn demandojn kaj restarigi ĝin?

Mi neniam estis estro de USEJ, kaj mi ne certas pri Julinjo. Mi ne scias kiu kreis la retpaĝon. Nuntempe ĝi estas parto de esperanto.org, kaj jen informo pri tio:

Ni povus kontakti tiujn homojn en Kalifornio. Tamen, mi preferus ke iu kreu novan retpaĝon kun nova nomo. Ekzemple usej.org. Kaj simple forigu la malnovan paĝon. Ho, malnovega! Mi aperas kun longa hararo en unu foto! Tio estas de 2001. 

Certe USEJ bezonas novan retpaĝon. Kaj oni povas revigligi la fejsbuk-grupon sufiĉe facile, simple komencu afiŝi en ĝi. 

Filipo, kie estas la maldeca diraĵo pri kiu vi parolas? Mi ne trovis ĝin.

Ni ja havas la retregionon "usej.org", kiu plusendas al
http://www.esperanto.org/usej/ sed sxajne tiu adreso ne plu funkcias,
do tial vi ricevas 404-mesagxon se vi iras al "usej.org". Estas mi
kiu posedas la retregionon kaj pagas por gxi cxiun jaron (kion mi
volonte dauxre faros). Mi povas almenaux sxangxi la plusend-adreson
al la gxusta nuna adreso. Sed se iu volas krei novan pagxaron, mi
pretas doni usej.org al tio.

Iam estis wiki pri USEJ cxe http://tejo.org/usej kun iom da historiaj
informoj pri USEJ (kaj pli fruaj agadaoj sub aliaj nomoj). Sed tio
adreso ne plu funkcias. Mi scivolas cxu ni perdis tiujn informojn.

Dum iu servilŝanĝo ĉe TEJO, Piotr Hołda (piotr...@pej.pl) ŝajne konservis tiujn kelkajn prahistoriajn vikiojn programitaj supozeble ankoraŭ de Zamenhof mem, kiuj kuŝis en la servilo de TEJO. Eblas do al li mesaĝi por ekscii ĉu ili iel rehaveblas.
