Upgrade from ver 4.7

Hello we want to upgrade from ver 4.7 - 2015 to latest version as we want to move it to a different vm. Can someone share any steps they have done in the past. Can we use the same license key when we perform the upgrade or a new license key is required.

Please share your thoughts.
