There's going to be a terrific series of free gardening classes at the
Pungo-Blackwater library on Saturday mornings this coming March! We
have put a set of three classes together for our little library -
these are going to be terrific fun and full of useful information!

The first talk on edible landscaping will be done by Sybil Mays (me),
UsefulGardens.com (and formerly of Paradise Nursery). Marie Butler (VA
Zoo Horticulture) will be sharing some of the fantastic container
growing she does for herself and the zoo (ornamental and edible
containers) and Jess Nelson, the wonderfully talented young vision
behind Painted Fern Landscape Architects, will be explaining how to
tap the spirit of your landscape to find your own unique style. For
details on each talk and information on signing up for one or all
three of the sessions, hop over to the Garden Events webpage on the
www.usefulgardens.com website!

I hope to meet a lot of our Useful Gardeners at the talks!

Happy New Year!
Sybil
