Featured Story of the Month -- August 2008 -- Luke's Girl

This month's choice was Luke's Girl by Ivylore.
My first impression of this story was that I loved how Han continued
to purposefully delude himself about the relationship between Luke and
Leia, even as Leia's feelings become more and more obvious. Within
this context of Han always having a chilvalrous streak, the events in
ROTJ make sense. I also loved the fortune telling scene with the cards
and how they're both clearly reading into it what they want to have
happen, even at that time. A lovely scene where you can just feel the
magnetic pull between them.
