As part of the annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference, Congressmember Karen Bass has invited EADBC's views on a post US-Africa Leaders deliberation that will take place on September 26th. The theme for the forum is "The Historic US-Africa Leaders Summit: A Look Back". The event will examine deliverables, outcomes and next steps.
Please see attachments for Save the Date and Formal Invitation and kindly note that the congress member's office has been notified on the proper designation of my role with EADBC.
Your thoughts will be much appreciated and I would like to invite a chat (30-45 mins max) during this coming week. If anyone would like to chat one on one I will be thrilled. A conference call may be warranted and most efficient to commune considering all the recent and impending Africa - facing activity, and our unique position to bear progressive and truly positive impact on our people.
