Business MIssion with Congressman Keith Ellison

Good evening ndugu,

 

As you are all aware EADBC is organizing a Business Mission to Tanzania led by Congressman Keith Ellison of Minnesota. Attached is the program as it stands today to give each one an overview of the visit.

Three companies will be leaving the US on Wednesday along with the Congressman and myself. A few others will be joining us in Dar from the region and one specifically from Kenya. We are also working with the American Chamber of Commerce in Tanzania hence the complete list of companies joining us especially for the Forum on November 7^th will be known soon.

During the Business to Business sessions we have organized meeting between various companies such as Thompson Reuters and IPP media (http://www.ippmedia.com/frontend/index.php ) and so on. These meetings are the ones that appear as business to business meetings on the program.

EADBC is working closely with the Tanzanian Embassy in DC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tanzania and Zanzibar. A few key meetings are yet to be confirmed due to logistical challenges in Dar with travels and all. I am hopeful that these will be complete by tomorrow.
