Please save the date of Friday, September 19, 2014 for the launch of the African Heritage Month with County Executive Rushern L. Baker III. at the County Administration Building (CAB) in Upper Marlboro from 11am-noon. About 50 community leaders and County sister city representatives have been selected to attend this important event.

 

The following have been invited to attend the launch of the African Heritage Month at CAB, and please let us know if your community group intends to hold activities in celebration of the September Heritage Month. This occasion will witness the re-affirmation of the Senegal Friendship Committee of Prince George’s County; Njikwa/Cameroon- Casa De Maryland and Prince George’s County partnership; and Royal Bafokeng/South Africa sister city with Prince George’s County.
