Dear Laetitia,   As many of you know, President Obama will be hosting the first US-Africa Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. from August 4-6, 2014. As the Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights, I am looking forward to welcoming leaders from across the African continent to the Nation’s Capital to further strengthen ties with these dynamic countries.   To keep you better informed of activities around the summit, I invite you to visit this website that highlights public events.
