Hi Everyone!
On the last email I sent out a sample position paper. Below is a little breakdown of the substance that should make up your paper. As always, if you need help feel free to contact your lovely exec board.

First paragraph: a brief history of the issue from your character's perspective.
Second paragraph: your role in the issue. How it has affected you, your part in it, etc. For example, if you're in the Peloppenisian War, and you're Sparta, how the conflict involves you).
Third para, what you want the outcome of the meeting/summit to be. What action you are requesting that the body take. What proposal are you making?
Very important: this paper is written from the perspective of your character. It is not a research paper undertaken from the political scientist in you. Citations are not necessary, but if you are directly quoting from something, or even paraphrasing, you should cite your source. No Wikipedia!!!

I've had a lot of people ask if its too late to join the group. No, You can join any time, but we need you to train before you can go into a conference (and so we can get to know our award-winning delegates !)
Meetings Times
Class- Today, Wednesday 2:30pm Map Room
Club-  Fridays 2:30pm Map Room

See you soon,
Sophia
