Board members (E-board) 的時候了! USC TSA E-Board 是由六個不同職位 (President,
Internal Vice President, External Vice President, Events Director,
Treasurer, Secretary)所組成, 每個職位都將在各個領域上負責不同的職務, 如下:
President: 會長除了將代表社團對外做統一發言, 代表接受報紙, 電視, 電台等訪問外, 也要協助維持E-board members間
的和諧及每場活動的職務分配. 要確保在既定時間內完成每一項環節步驟.
Internal Vice President: 在所有活動中全力協助會長, 在會長必須缺席任何一個場合時, IVP將暫時遞補會長身份主導活動
流程. IVP主要工作內容則包括分配所有幹部在每場活動負責的項目, 以及每場E-Board 會議定期舉行並有效率的在時間內完成. 除了要維持幹
部間的分工合作及和諧, IVP將代表TSA在USC 校內與其他合作社團間擔任公關的角色. 租用每場活動的場地及USC校內社團活動也都由IVP擔
任代表TSA出席.
External Vice President: EVP要負責所有南加州內鄰近其他大學的社團聯繫,確保USC TSA在整個南加州的活動中不缺席
外, 也將代表出席USC 校外的社團聚會或重要會議, 尤其是 “台灣在美辦事處”的所有活動都必須到場接收及交換資訊. 也要為社團尋找合作單位並
代表簽訂所有贊助商合約.
Events Director: 訂定活動日期, 策劃活動內容並在每場活動前擬出具體的企劃書讓E-Board members討論細節. 準備齊
活動所須道具及流程. 另外, 安排carpool及任何行式的活動宣傳都在Events Director的工作範圍.
Treasurer: 掌USC TSA財政大權, 定期內將TSA每筆支出及收入做紀錄並在E-board會議中報告社團經費狀況, 並依此訂定每次
活動收費價格及撥出合理預算籌備活動. 必要時, 須協助尋找經費來源及填寫申請補助的所有文件.
Secretary: 秘書長將負責官方網站, TSA facebook group的定期更新, 代表收發tsa emails及維持會員和幹部間
的一個溝通管道. 在幹部及E-Board會議中紀錄內容並審示TSA對外正式文件. 以及管理,保護TSA的會員資料或任何種類用途文件.
USC TSA Executive Board members不只提供一個結交校內外朋友的機會,豐富您的社交圈, 也讓您學習與他人共事的技巧及
訓練對事情的組織, 應變能力. 更有許多機會可認識知名公司企業的高階人員, 所以擔任USC TSA E-Board members對未來不管是
履歷表的加分或實質上的人脈拓展都有一定的幫助. 但在此同時不要忘了要對自己未來一個學年裡的職務負責, 並抱持著熱情幫助台灣來的同學及其他對台灣
文化有興趣的朋友!
USC TSA E-Board選舉資訊:
- 參選人必須是USC TSA會員
- 參選人不得同時具有其他文化性質背景的社團E-Board身份
- 每人限報名一個職位
- President, Internal Vice President, 及Events Director三個職位必須符合至少擔任TSA
staff一個學期的條件方可報名
須在4/6 星期一下午五點以前填妥報名表並寄到 usc...@hotmail.com, 之後您會收到一封確認信. (p.s. 報名表可到官方

- 候選人4/9 周四晚間六點半前須到達選舉會場, 七點開放投票觀眾入場, 七點半選舉正式開始.
- 每位候選人有六分鐘時間做自我介紹及政見發表加上兩分鐘開放現場問答
- 投票人必須持有USC TSA會員資格並攜帶會員貼紙入場方可投票
- 所有到場投票的會員可享有一杯免費珍珠奶茶(或其他飲品). 前十位到場的朋友更享有免費鹽酥雞喔! 待所有選票投入投票箱後, 將在現場抽出幸運
觀眾可獲得精美小禮物!!
- 所有選票將在現場一一唱票, 並立即公佈選舉結果, 所有過程透明公開

Thank you for your support to USC TSA in the previous academic year.
The semester is almost to the end when is also about time to elect for
TSA next academic year’s Executive-Board members (E-board)! USC TSA E-
board consists of 6 positions as following: President, Internal Vice
President, External Vice President, Events Director, Treasurer, and
Secretary. Every position has some duties in different fields as
below:
GENERAL DUTIES OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
- The President serves as the chief executive officer and shall
preside at all TSA functions unless duty is otherwise delegated. The
president shall be the official spokesperson of TSA, representing the
views and policies of the organization. The President is to oversee
the activities of all committee. The President is responsible for
resolving conflicts among executive board members.
- The Internal Vice President shall assist the President in all
activities. In the absences of the President, the Internal Vice
President shall fill in for the President. The Internal Vice President
is to oversee the activities of all staff officers. The Internal Vice
President shall ensure that all general and executive meetings are run
in a timely and efficient manner. The Internal Vice President shall
ensure that all decisions made are in accordance with the constitution
and its stipulations. The Internal Vice President is responsible for
resolving conflicts among staff officer and between staff and the
executive board members. This person is the representative for all
public relation matters between TSA and organizations on USC campus.
In addition, all the location bookings and campus related aspects are
included in this position.
The External Vice President coordinates with the other student
organizations around Southern California, finds sponsors, and chair
any ad hoc committees or task forces of the organization. The External
Vice President is also responsible for all the public relation matters
among organizations outside of USC. In addition, the External Vice
President must attend all TECO events and help look for sponsors.
The Events Director will be responsible of creating and maintaining an
event
calendar. In addition, this person is in charge of all events
planning, arranging
carpool, dafting rundowns for staff and executive board members,
preparing all the necessary materials for the events and events
promotions.
The Treasurer will maintain records and report on the financial
transactions of TSA. The Treasurer is also responsible for organizing
fundraising events and initiating proposals to school funding
resources if necessary. The Treasurer shall present a budget for each
event.
The Secretary will keep TSA membership database updated. The Secretary
is also in
charge of maintaining and updating the TSA website and facebook group
on regular
basis. In addition, the Secretary will also take, record and file
meeting minutes;
produce all official written correspondence for the organization.

There are few requirements we would like to highlight to make the
election process smoother and to ensure the success of next year’s
executive board:
- All applicants need to be USC TSA member to be eligible for the
election.
- All applicants should not be a current or pending executive board
member of another cultural organization at USC. .
- One applicant is limited to run for one position ONLY, so please
indicate your priority
- Must be a USC TSA staff for a semester during this academic year if
you are running for the following three positions: President, Internal
Vice President, and Events Director.
- Must submit an E-Board election application by deadline set on Apr.
6th 5pm to usc...@hotmail.com, then you will receive a confirmation
letter. (p.s. the application form can be downloaded from the TSA
official website at

- All applicants must attend the election and arrive before 6:30pm,
the door will open at 7pm for the voters, and the election will start
sharply at 7:30pm
- All applicants will have 6 minutes to introduce yourself and express
your views, there will be another 2 minutes open for Q&As
- All the guests must be USC TSA members and show the USC TSA
membership sticker in order to be a legal voter
- All the voters who show up at the election and vote will receive a
FREE boba tea (or other drinks), and we will also provide FREE popcorn
chicken to the first 10 guests. In addition, there will be small
raffle prizes for the lucky voters.
- We will call out the names of those voted for while counting
ballot, the result will be announced right after every ballot is
called.
One of the main purposes for this election is to show the democracy,
so please try to be a TSA Executive Board candidate to serve members
in the future. All the members should come to vote too!
