(10/18) Discover USC : (upper right 1, 2, and lower left 1, 2) The major recruiting event of the year, Discover USC, attracted close to 150 prospective applicants and parents to learn the first hand about USC. Taiwan‧USC Fellowship" (for Ph.D. new students) "台灣‧南加大獎學金" (博士新生) * 教育部獎學金項目: 教育部與8所世界百大設置合作獎學金 * 美國南加州大學於2011年與教育部共同設立 [台灣‧南加大博士生獎學金] (Taiwan‧USC Fellowship)，並於2012學年起施行。目前邁入第二個五年合作。此一計畫每年提供包含學費、食宿等在內的全額獎學金予多位優秀的台灣博士班新生。敬邀計畫於2017年赴美深造各類博士課程的台灣申請人踴躍提出申請。 有意申請者必須於期限內分別向南加大提出入學申請，及向教育部申請此一特定獎學金。請留意下方訊息與各截止期限。

| Ever since the USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times Presidential Election Daybreak Poll debuted in July, media observers have labeled it an “outlier”: Its results differed from those of other polls, regularly reporting positive numbers for Donald Trump. | The poll, led by USC’s Arie Kapteyn and Jill Darling, has piqued interest and drawn criticism for its unconventional methodology. “It has been an unusual election year, with unconventional candidates and campaigns — and our unusual poll,” Kapteyn and Darling said in a statement released Wednesday. Kapteyn is the director and Darling the survey director of the Center for Economic and Social Research at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. | Rohit Varma has been named dean of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, effective immediately. Varma will also hold the May S. and John Hooval Dean’s Chair in Medicine. USC Provost Michael Quick announced the appointment Nov. 9 on behalf of USC President C. L. Max Nikias. USC student-athletes’ graduation success rate hits all-time high — again 南加大運動員學生的畢業率再創新高 | 
| For the third consecutive year, the graduation success rate of USC student-athletes is at an all-time high, according to data released Tuesday by the NCAA. The 2016 rate, 83 percent, measures how many student-athletes in the classes of 2006 through 2009 graduated within six years of their enrollment.
