Fellow Trojan Alumni,

Hope everyone is doing well and excited for Homecoming Weekend 2018. I’m sending this email out to see who’s wanting to play against the current Trojan scrubs for this year’s USC Rugby Alumni Game. The game will take place Sunday Morning, November 11 on Cromwell field. If you’re interested in playing please email me back directly with your preferred position!

I’ve been working with the current team leadership and there are a bunch of great activities planned for the weekend, we’re excited to see you all on campus:

Sorry for the late reply, I'm a winemaker and its harvest time, so my life during this time of year is dictated to me by grapes. If its not to late, I'll be able to attend the dinner and rugby game. If you have a need for a fat, old and slow winger (which was my problem when I played for SC), I'm your man. Please do put my name down. Also, If you need any booze for your events let me know. I got a premium bottle of bourbon that I make from wine barrels which I was planning on bring down. ALSO, since I've put if off for so long, I've yet to purchase a ticket to the football game, are you guys selling tickets for everyone to sit together? If so I'd like to purchase one if possible. I look forward to meeting you. 

Ps: there maybe a couple of other former Trojan Ruggers from the Temecula Rugby Club and the Aztec Old Boys who maybe contacting you.

Fellow Alumni! 

We look forward to seeing you all this Friday for the beginning of Homecoming Weekend 2018! The Alumni dinner will kick off the weekend on Friday at 7:00 PM at Traddies where we will celebrate with the current team for winning the “Plate" at this past weekend’s PAC-12 Sevens. The plate is equivalent to winning 5th place, the highest USC has finished at the annual PAC-12 Sevens Tournament. 
Friends, family, and significant others are all welcome. Tickets for the dinner are $20 and can be purchased here: https://www.evite.com/event/02A2M4FZ5XSJKESXOEPIZV4ZWKT2UE

For Saturday I have confirmed with the team that we will have a tailgate booth at McCarthy Quad before the 7:30 PM Kick off. I will email the approximate location of the tailgate on game day. Expect the tailgate to start around 1/2PM. 

For Sunday, we will kick off the alumni game at 10 AM sharp, meaning 9:30 for warmup at Cromwell Field on campus. The team will be providing jerseys but please bring your game necessities I.e. rugby boots, mouthguard, rugby shorts, socks, etc. So far we have 15 listed for the alumni game (mostly in the backs) and do need more hands up. Please email me back if you can play on Sunday morning!

Gents, 

Hope to see you all tonight at the Alumni dinner. There are still tickets available and they are available for $20 in the thread below. If you didn’t know, the dinner has been moved to Study Hall @ 2827 S Hoover St., Los Angeles, CA 90007 starting at 7PM.

For the Alumni Game on Sunday we desperately need some more numbers to get in the mix. Rolling subs, uncontested scrums, beer on the sideline, young punks needing a smackdown… what more can I say to entice you? Please reach out to me if you’d like to play.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you note to all the current players and coaches who were involved in organizing the USC Alumni events over the past weekend - Congratulations on planning a great weekend and thanks again for all of your hard work and effort, on and off the field.
