Trojan family, this coming Tuesday, November 27th is #GivingTuesday, a global day of charitable giving, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.  It presents a special opportunity to increase awareness and support of your USC fundraising efforts.  Please participate in #GivingTuesday by donating to the USC Rugby Fundraising drive: https://ignite.usc.edu/project/11852.

On another note, I received the below message from Frank Neeri ’72 about tomorrow’s USC/Notre Dame football game.  With his permission, I’m forwarding it along with the pictures.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

On a personal note, I’m particularly grateful for all my blessings this year, including the USC family.  While driving up to my hometown of Sonoma on Wednesday with my family, my car unexpectedly hydroplaned on the freeway.  We avoided hitting the center-divider but I overcorrected and ended up rolling the car over twice before crashing into the embankment.  By grace and modern technology, everyone was unharmed with nary a scratch – all seven passengers plus our dog.  The people immediately behind us stopped traffic until CHP arrived and shuttled my children to safety and warmth in their car while I tried to make sense of what had just happened.  People can be infinitely kind and generous (as we’ve seen in the wake of the California fires) and I’m thankful to everyone who helped us through that hazardous situation.

Fight On!

I was at the 1974 SC - Notre Dame "Miracle" and after that I don't know what could beat it.  AD was a buddy of mine and signed the cover.  My ticket is also visible.  Also is a pic from the El Rod of a Cal booster who had too much fun and went up the goal post after the cops chased him.  They had change the sides of the teams and he stayed there until he passed out and went to the ground.  Was soo drunk..no injuries.  We did have a ton of fun.  Hope you all do too.
