Dear Faculty, Staff, Students and Alumni,
I am writing to you to let you know that the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will be closed for business on June 10 in solidarity with the #ShutDownAcademia and #ShutDownSTEM initiatives . While you certainly may choose to work, we are hoping that you use it to reflect on how we as a school can be part of the solution. We plan to hold other activities that will allow us to move forward toward the change that is needed to provide everyone with the lives that they deserve. We must, as a society and as an academic community, step up in this moment in history and take responsibility for what each of us needs to do to ensure equal opportunity for all.
