Hello all,

I'm not a developer per se, but more of a system admin. I moved here
from central NY in 2006, and my expertise lies with networking,
security, virtualization, and general administration of large scale
networks and service providers. Anytime I see a local group involved
with Linux or Open Source, I *have* to get involved. I've been an
avid Linux user since about 1997, and a diehard Slackware fan. I
"lurk" on just about all the local LUG lists, in the
#southeastlinuxfest channel on freenode, and attended both initial
posscon events.

Even though my programming experience is limited to some perl and
bash, and maybe a little bit of 6510 assembly from my C64 days, I
definitely want to get involved, if you don't mind me lurking
electronically on the group. My employer keeps me plenty busy, but if
I can make the occasional meeting, I will try.
