日本在住卒業生有志による米国大学学部進学説明会 (大阪・岸和田)
U.S. College Information Session in OSAKA 2012
この度、卒業生ボランティア主催による米国４年制大学（学部）進学についての説明会を来たる2012年6月17日（日）午後1時～4時に大阪府立和泉高等学校を会場とさせて頂き、開催致しますのでご案内申し上げます。
アメリカの4年制大学（学部）への日本からの受験・進学について、下記米国大学にて実際に学部生活を経験した卒業生たちが体験談を交えながら、日本語にて説明会を行います。世界に活動・活躍の舞台を広げようと考えている日本の中高生、保護者、教職員の方々に、日本国内大学への進学という選択肢に加え、アメリカの4年制大学への学部進学という選択肢を紹介することが目的です。
●当説明会参加確定卒業生の在籍中・出身大学名（2012年6月9日現在、追加参加大学の調整中）：
① カリフォルニア大学バークレイ校 (University of California, Berkeley・CAL)
② ブリンモア大学 (Bryn Mawr College)
③ プリンストン大学 (Princeton University)

13:00 - 13:30 Global時代に求められる人材像について
全体説明 （米国の大学の種類、学費・奨学金制度、卒業後の進路）
13:30 - 14:20 日本人・日本在住卒業生による体験談 （大学生活・卒業後の進路）
14:20 - 14:30 休憩
14:30 - 15:10 受験プロセス説明 （選考基準、願書、小論文、推薦状、SAT、日米大学同時受験）
15:10 - 16:00 質疑応答

各米国大学の現役学部生・日本在住卒業生有志による非営利ボランティアネットワークです。2010年8月の東京での米国大学説明会・カレッジフェア開催に合わせて発足しました。
このような留学説明会を開催したり、留学についての情報提供などを無償で行っております。

Sunday June 17th 2012, Info Session on U.S. Undergraduate Admissions
and College Life (in Japanese)
Organized by U.S. College Alumni Network in Japan (USCANJ)
USCANJ and Izumi High School will be co-organizing an informational
session (in Japanese) on U.S. college admissions and college life.
Alumni of multiple U.S. colleges will be there to answer any questions
from the audience as well as share their experience from their time in
US. Please note the session will be conducted in Japanese.

(forms, essay, exams, recommendation letters, applying simultaneously
in both US and Japan)
