[PDF] vector to raster inside pdf

Greetings,

 

I receive pdf files with embedded illustrator vector files.

I would like to convert these pdf files to pdf files where the embedded Illustrator files are rasterized into a given resolution.

This in order to reduce the total size, in many cases the Illustrator files are b/w drawings.

 

Does someone know a tool that would perform the conversion?

just open the pdf in photoshop and it should rasterize....

Hi,
Along with other conversion options, you can quickly raster the drawing in
Adobe Illustrator also.
( In Illustrator do either ...Object > Rasterize or Effect > Rasterize,
depending on what you want to do with the file.)
If you do not have Illustrator, perhaps ask the individual who sent this to
you to quickly do this for you .
