I have set of documents which I have added a watermark using Acrobat 7.

This has worked well, I have a pale pink Stamp effect which
clearly identifies the source and allows the reader to read the
text underneath.

Questions are:

How easy is it to remove the watermark? ( I have backup copies of
the originals. I am thinking here of recipients of these documents)

What else should or can I do to make removal of the watermark more
difficult? Should I flatten ?

I simply want to make removing the watermark more hassle than its
worth. I suspect there are tools out there that will defeat any precautions.

Thanks

Gordon

You may establish security settings in your documents to prevent certain tasks from being performed.
Adding password security to your documents may be sufficient to dissuade most people from abusing your property.
