Are there any tips or tricks for working with very large PDF files e.g. 10,000 pages or more?  It takes Acrobat a long time to open large files.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
We have used linked multiple files in the past instead of one large file?
Would that work for this application?

1) Compress them. If they are scanned I recommend trying our PDFCompressor (see www.cvisiontech.com/cvistapdf.html)
2) Linearize them (the PDFCompressor does that, too). This will make them open much faster over the Web.

Yes and no.

If you do a "Save As" from Acrobat, it MAY recompress certain
parts of the file - but it's not guaranteed...

There are tools currently available, and shortly available,
that can definitely do this for you...
