Outline for Legal Research Exam

Hi Everyone,

So I know it is rough to hit you with the legal research exam info right after you turned in the memo, but so it goes first year...

Attached is an outline we got last year [note: follow what it says in your packet for what the exam consists of, that info may be a bit out of date].  Take it for what you will.  I found that it was most helpful to read and memorize the research packet.  

The exam is pretty much straight memorization.  You will need to know info from throughout the course, but I would say the large majority is from the packet.  Even the 'essay's are mostly about playing info back.

It is VERY doable, so don't freak.
