In the following lines, 

you're using different 

quotation marks.

Mandarin:

<string name=“I love you too.“>我也爱你!{br}Wǒ yĕ ài nǐ.</string>

Filipino (Use "Filipino" instead of "Tagalog")

<string name=“I’m very good. I’ve been very busy lately.">Mabuti naman ako, maraming lang akong pinagkakaabalahan.</string>

<string name=“Please, let’s all sit down and eat!”>Halina’t umupo at kumain na tayong lahat!</string>

Make sure you're also using

Notepad++ to edit these files.
