Please Vote on Match lengths for 2017

As we’ve been discussing, in 2017 we will be selecting two Bermuda Bowl teams, which makes the USBC longer. From the discussion, I’ve eliminated the possibility of keeping all KO matches at 120 boards (2 days), which would mean a 14 day long event. I also eliminated anything that would have us playing anything other than 60 boards a day in KO matches. So the possibilities I want you to vote on are:

1. Shortest event (11 days) - all KO matches are 90 boards long.

2. Middle (12 days):

a. USA1 SF and F are 120 boards long (this means that the USA2 R16 and R8, which are opposite the USA1 SF & F would be 120 boards long, which means that earlier USA2 matches would be longer than later ones).

b. USA1 F and USA2 F are 120 boards long, all others are 90. Again, this means that the USA2 R8, opposite USA1 F, would be 120 boards long and then the SF would be 90.

c. USA2 SF and F are 120 boards long. This means that only the final 4 teams would have a longer event. 

3. Longest (13 days) - USA1 & USA2 SF and F are all 120 boards long. This means that only the USA1 R16 & R8 are 90 boards, everything else is 120 boards.
