Malfunction of USB-Dewpointcontroller

Hi all

I'm working with a USB_Dewpoint controller since a couple of weeks. First it was working quite nice, but a couple of days ago a nasty bug with channel one began

to show up: Heat output in manual mode cannot be set anymore. Clicking
the set button with - say 100% - the value falls back to 0%
immediately. Sometimes, after clicking the button for a dozen times,
the value settles to 64%. In automatic mode, however,  the device seems

to work flawlessly.
