hi all,

so i have everything stuffed and soldered and the teensy burned (i
hope, correctly). i'm still working out my java situation here on
ubuntu 10.04, i haven't been able to get the processing host app to
receive ocs messages yet...

for now what i'd like to know is if what i'm reading voltage wise from
the channel outs is normal at this stage:

when the teensy is plugged in, all channels immediately drop down to
-3.36V. is this the normal default before any messages have been
sent?

Yes, that sounds normal. The MAX5250 chips have a power-on reset mode, where they drop to the lowest point of their swing.
