hope every1 is cool! lookin forward to seeing every1 2nite @ Ponana!!
was thinking how bout if we have a fundraiser?! with like live
performers, bharatnitiyam dancing(i knw a gal called sreeja who is a
sussex grad who'd b up for it) bhangra show, bollywood and fashion show!
we cud make it like a proff event! charging ppl entry and then have like
prof mendhi artists cum down, food stalls and stage performances! we
could also get together with other ethno/social/religous societies i.e
shisha, hindu, budhist, ACAS, sikh, chinese, yoga and have like work
shops set up! i mean make this a HUGE thing- and if its planned well
with al these socs we cud charge like a 5ver for entry and all money
raised can go to the unions 'education for all' scheme!
