TheHarvest Ale from Blue Moon is a very seasonal selection with lots of bold spices such as cloves, alspice, and nutmeg. The dish I created for this beer definitely warms the belly. It was nuking snow outside, a fire roaring, and the house needed some pleasant aromas.

Braised short ribs immediately came to my mind with this beer. The braising liquid was created using the Harvest ale, spices, and some aromatics. Combined with some hearty root vegetables, this dish would certainly fill all requirements for a snowy, stay at home evening.

The ribs braised for about 2 hours, but could have easily gone longer if you have the time and patience. The meet was tender, the yams and leeks melted in your mouth. And the house smelled of all the spices that had been simmering away for the past few hours. A delicious warm meal that also warms the soul. Keep this one for those cold nights!

Established on July 20th, 1938, by R.T. King Fish Fields, the Silver Moon Barbecue restaurant had a dozen employees on payroll by 1941. Locals recall the rich sauce and hickory-smoked barbecue ribs and chicken, noting that the smell of hickory smoke enticed customers from blocks away. The restaurant was managed by Mrs. M.E. Johnson, who later became the owner, and closed in the middle 1980s.

Kevin Russell (Shinyribs) has teamed up with artist Katie Terrell Ramos to create this fantastical take on the song of the same name. This book is set to Russell's whimsical lyrics, and made with 100+ hand-carved rubber stamps that are printed and then digitally painted and collaged together.

After hearing the story, Mr. Blik decides to get rocks from the moon in order to cook the best ribs and win the contest. Just about ten minutes north of Half Moon Bay in the charming seaside town of El Granada, Breakwater Barbecue is an all-American spot tucked at the base of a blue shingled house. Walk in and you may be greeted by the butcher slicing and prepping slabs of meat. This is the kind of place where you'll want to grab a beer immediately upon entering before tucking into the likes of chili made with house-ground brisket, smoked short rib and house-made sausage. Braised in smoked pork stock with roasted poblano, smoked tomato and garlic, it's packed with smoky, spicy flavors and best sided with a slice of corn bread. But wait, there's more, specifically the Texas Trinity. It's an impressive heap of brisket, ribs and links, plus two sides (Merle's potato salad and beans and greens are good choices) and bread. Come hungry.

This is definitely one of the easiest and quickest spare rib recipes you can make. Traditionally, ribs take at least 2 hours in the oven. But in the Instant Pot, from start to finish, they take only 40 minutes.

Once the ribs are seared, drizzle the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil into the pot. Toss in the white parts of the green onions, ginger, cinnamon stick, and star anise. Stir fry until aromatic, about 1-2 minutes.

Chinese flavors inspired this easy Instant Pot sweet and sour spare ribs recipe. Tender pork ribs are cooked in a tangy, sweet sauce made with pantry staple ingredients. Done in 40 minutes, it's the kind of meal you can make on a weeknight but that looks and tastes like you cooked all day.

reviews & comments Erin Roberts REVIEW:

September 16, 2020 I actually made this dish, but because I don't have a grill, I had to change up the recipe a little. I used all of the same ingredients, but I marinated them for 2 nights before putting them in an oven at 275 degrees for 4 hours. This makes them practically fall apart and the bones super easy to cut through. My picky eaters can't get enough of this dish! They beg for it almost every week!

The Silver Shadow Series provides a large reflective surface on top to deflect sunlight and a black underside to absorb wandering rays, allowing you to walk cooler and better protected. Its coating sheds water easily, eliminating the need to wear sweaty rain gear.

The Silver Shadow Carbon is the crown jewel of hiking umbrellas. A sleek, carbon fiber shaft, spreader, and ribs drop the weight of this umbrella to a mere 6.8 oz while maintaining full coverage. Its rigid shaft insures that it won't unexpectedly collapse and its simple construction ensures years of trouble-free use. The simple design with minimal parts keeps it light and durable. There are simply fewer things to break or malfunction.

The umbrella is sturdy but incredibly lightweight for those concerned with ounces! The handle is very comfortable and easier to hold on to when hiking in rain than the one I owned before. The fabric is sturdy and feels like it will hold up well! Very happy with this birthday gift for my daughter!
