approx 600 rangers that includes 69 chief lifeguards - all armed
comm centers also dispatch game wardens
state parks use mostly 800 mhz radio channels - apparently all of
their repeater sites are linked via microwave or shortwave or
satellite or maybe 72 mhz - conceivably they could hit every repeater
in the state from 2 sites - frazier mtn in ventura county and st john
mtn near redding calif - usfs used to do this on 36 mhz and 166 mhz

they might have 1 or 2 fire trucks at most - brodie park and angel
island park and maybe 2 brush trucks near san francisco
