A question about pre-registered rider wanting to change into another category

Hey all, me again! This question deals with Bonanza Creek Classic's
change in the Men Masters race distance.
I have a pre-registered rider who had registered in the CAT 4/5 but
now with the change in distance in the Men Masters, would like to go
with the Masters category. To change this riders category, would I
just assign him in the Men Masters and have him re-sign the usac event
waiver? Easy enough, right?
Forgive my questions, this is my first time at directing a race.
