Is there a rule, policy or guideline on how much to charge for a one-day license at an MTB event?

On the 2008 Schedule of fees, it says:

"Collegiate MTB/Road/track/Cyclocross one day License  $10 competitive"
"Road/track/Cyclocross one day license $10 competitive $5 non-competitive"

On the first item, "Collegiate" appears to modify the licenses mentioned.
One the second item, "MTB" is not mentioned.

I looked around and couldn't find anything else on this question.

Just wondering.

$10 has been the most common I've seen. But since the promoter
simply keeps it (in MTB racing at least) I can see why there would
not be one specified.

I've always sent in the $10 per rider-- in the post-event paperwork road or mountain USAC does require you to send in 1 copy of each 1-day, account for all 1-days sold, and adds $10 per 1-day to your total bill (along with the annual licenses sold and $2 fee for each licensed rider).  I guess it is the honor system so a promoter could ignore the requirement...

As I read the current Post-Event Report and Payment, other than the $2 per rider insurance surcharge, a promoter does not pay for "one day member waivers."
I think charging $10 for a one-day is just fine.

On the Road Report, it is clear that the promoter pays USAC $10 for each one day sold.

Wow, I think it's changed since last time I put on a mtb race.  That's odd.  Well, make some extra $$ while you can!

The minimum is $5 per day for Beginner, Sport, or non-Expert Juniors.  Promoters may charge more than $5, if they choose to do so.  They also need to have the one-day ‘member’ or annual licensee ‘discount’ clearly indicated on their race flier/event information.
