This is quite shortsighted.
Ebola could have crossed over into other parts of the world, in a big way, a few years ago. If that had happened would Africa have had to compensate all the countries affected by that disease? What about other potential claims?
The T administration is notoriously unsophisticated and even crude, and should not be emulated. Copy cat law suits of this nature are counterproductive.
The T administration is doing this to insight anti- China hysteria and fire up the base. They also want to change the discourse about the source of the disease.
I expected that the lawyers would direct their energies to the Africans in China who underwent major racial abuse and suffered economic losses at the hands of employees and landlords . That is a more rational cause than this one.
