Islamic Vision and the Iranian Achievement

Iran has made it clear that the coupling of Islam and low intellectual, scientific and technological achievement in the modern era has nothing to do with Islam but is the work of confused people.

While the Northern Muslim dominant states in Nigeria are known for being perpetually described as educationally disadvantaged, using that as a means of lowering standards to enable their people cheat other Nigerians for the same opportunities, entering the sane academic programs with abysmally lower marks, we have in Iran an Islamic nation that is proving itself as perhaps  the most technologically advanced Islamic majority country in the world and the only country in the Middle East operating at that level without the help of the West, since Israel's success is closely tied to the West.

Instead of Nigeria's Muslim North to focus on accelerated development of their people they continue to cheat other Nigerians by in effect describing their people as being of lower intellectual capacity and  achievement, requiring unfair advantage to even participate in national educational opportunities.

The whole thing is a scam.

Islamic culture has never been associated with intellectual or educational backwardness, in all aspects of knowledge, from the arts to philosophy to science.

What is known today as modern science and even Western philosophy has gained heavily from the Islamic achievement in the Arab and Persian worlds and even in Europe.

Those Muslims who see Western education and their faith as irreconcilable and yet use the military fruits of Western technology in trying to force people to toe their blind path should look at Iran and ask how an Islamic nation has become so feared by the West for its ideological  independence and technological and military power.

How did they travel so far in nuclear technology?

The Israeli assassination of some of their nuclear scientists shows Israel recognizes Iran has a formidable scientific and technological intelligentsia driving the country forward, a human power force Israel and their US and other Western allies want to decapitate.

How did they develop such a critical mass of scientists?

What can be learnt from Iran about national ideological and geopolitical independence and intellectual, scientific and technological achievement and military empowerment on a national scale?

Iran - yes. Of course. I’m a great fan of Persian poetry .

The rest of all the positive things you say about Iran elicit special approval, the kinds of commentary ánd discussion that should take several days and occupy very much space in the forum.

Bear in mind, education , science, aesthetics, philosophy have reached new pinnacles

but didn’t begin with the arrival of Islam as Seyyed Hosein Nasr (the father of Vali Nasr) would be the first to tell you .

I have some reservations about what you say concerning Northern Nigeria.

Interesting : The technologically most advanced Muslim countries in the world

Let’s not underestimate Iraq, Egypt, Turkiye, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Pakistan, Indonesia,  Malaysia, Algeria ( the North African nation that understands Africa South of the Sahara best) Mali, Senegal, some of the former Soviet Republics / former territories of what was once the Persian Empire

As for the dude who wants to play the role of Iran’s great enemy ( The Great Satan) ,  he’s at home with what citizen Zimmerman opined in Union Sundown:

“Democracy don't rule the world

You better get that in your head

This world is ruled by violence

But I guess that's better left unsaid”

Trump is certainly familiar with the concept and here he is, sounding off on that, talking, not as a statesman, an elder statesman or leader of his own concocted meaning of the “Free world” but as the boss of a mafioso terrorist outfit:

"We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”

It’s terrifying to know that someone as erratic, obviously lacking a sense of history, narcissistic, impulsive, unpredictable and vengeful as Don J is lord and master of the nuclear codes and round the clock can pick up that little machine in his chubby hands and start threatening people and telling them that they should surrender “unconditionally”.

I know that it must be very difficult for him, but he (Trump) should try surrendering to the Almighty, in all humility, unconditionally .

Or does he think that he is too big, too great and powerful to surrender to the Almighty?

Has he read the Quran?

That’s what Islam means: To surrender to the Almighty.

Trump is definitely not the Almighty.

He is not even Muhammad Ali

About what was referred to at the time as “the Islamic bomb

Tariq Ali’s seminal, topical and timely The Duel  which I read in 2009 could be a little outdated by now but provides a very good background and insightful understanding about the state of nuclear weapons in Pakistan and how the possible use of those weapons is seriously monitored
